Kings Access Technology

Kings Access Technology is very much involved in assisting many TNs in the transition to digital production. We are available to help with every stage from the initial planning to installation and staff training. We can supply everything needed for the changeover at competitive prices, including our own KARDS recording programme and our increasingly popular Sceptre Speakers. British Wireless for the Blind Fund

The Macular Disease Society is a national charity that aims to build confidence and independence for people with central vision loss; It is the only UK charity dedicated to helping people with macular disease and seeking a cure.

Blind Veterans UK

Blind Veterans UK believes that no one who has served their country should have to battle blindness alone; All blind veterans should have access to the finest quality of services to help them discover a life beyond sight loss.

Living Paintings

The Living Paintings free library supports blind and partially sighted adults, children and young people.  The books contain tatcile images and audio soundtracks that guide the fingers and describe the images in detail.


VocalEyes is a nationwide company providing access to the arts for blind and partially sighted people through both live and recorded audio despcription.  Please contact VocalEyes if you would like to find out more about audio described theatre performances, availability of audio description at museums, galleries and heritage sites and to sign up to receive their free Newsletter.  The Newsletter is available in large print, Braille and on audio CD.  Full details of all VocalEyes described performances and events can be found on their website.

International Glaucoma Association

The IGA is the charity for people with glaucoma. We provide information, literature, advice and fund essential research to prevent unnecessary loss of sight through early detection, diagnosis and treatment. We also run campaigns to raise awareness of the need for regular eye health checks to detect the 300,000 estimated to be living with undetected glaucoma in the UK today.  Here is an IGA article script for local Talking Newspapers to download and use in their publications.
