Black Country Talking Newspaper & Magazine - NON MEMBER

This is free service for people in the Black Country Area is funded by Dudley MBC and is part of Thomas Pocklington Trust. In the Talking Newspaper we report local news taken from various publications in the area, this is published weekly. Once a month we publish the Talking Magazine which includes interesting articles, monthly recipes & gardening tips, interviews and poetry.

This is all aimed at blind & visually impared people in the Black Country and is run from our studio at the Thomas Pocklington Resource Centre in Stourbridge.

We have been producing our talking service on CDs for a few years and are currently looking into other methods of distribution. We have recently started broadcasting on Sonata players and are in the process of setting up a web page where people can listen online or download both the Talking Newspaper & Magazine as well as archived issues and individual items.
