The Society has existed since 1895, aiming to offer assistance to those suffering from visual impairment on Isle of Wight.

  • Isle of Wight County Press

    Description:

    The County Press is published on a Friday and we read as much of it as we can, as written in the paper.

    The recording is loaded onto memory sticks which are sent to clients on Friday afternoon by Articles for the Blind and many of our users receive the wallet on Saturday.

    We also supply clients with the means to listen to the recording

  • Isle of Wight Society for the Blind Christmas Special

    Description:

    The Society produces a Christmas entertainment recording every year

    The recording is copied onto memory sticks and sent to our listeners

    Publication frequency: Yearly

  • Isle of Wight Society for the Blind Newsletter

    Description:

    The society publishes newsletters three or four times a year.

    The newsletters are read and recorded as published and are copied onto the memory stick with our weekly newspaper
