What we do:

Articles are taken from the local paper and read onto cassette, which are then sent to local visually impaired people.  Listening machines can be supplied if needed

Who is it for?

Blind and partially sighted people who cannot access local news from the local papers

Listener subscription is free.

What is on the recording?

60 minute weekly paper articles from the Romford Recorder, four newsreaders and an editor.   We have a monthly magazine , subjects include history of Havering, Gardening, Quiz, interviews, recipes.  We have approximately 300 listeners.
