Hamilton Sound is a Talking Newspaper Service which produces and distributes sound versions of the Hamilton Advertiser free of charge to visually impaired people every week in and around Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Listeners using our free postal service can look forward to receiving a padded plastic wallet every week containing a USB Memory Stick on which is recorded the current week’s edition of Hamilton Sound plus a monthly magazine supplement.  It’s usually delivered on a Saturday morning but some listeners with ML3 Post Codes may even receive their wallet on Fridays (the same day as the Hamilton Advertiser’s publication date).

We also distribute via the internet.  You can download or stream the current edition and a selection of archive material to your PC from our website or by Internet Radio.  We are also featured on Sonata Radio by courtesy of the British Wireless for the Blind Fund.
