Liverpool Talking Newspaper is a charity set up in 1980 with the aim of helping visually impaired people to engage with local news and culture. Every week we produce an 45 minute digital recording of local news, taken from the Liverpool Echo. In addition a 45 minute weekly magazine and a monthly Christian news segment.

The service is totally FREE to listeners and produced entirely by volunteers. We currently have around 200 Listeners who receive a memory stick as well as other people who access the recordings via Sonata radio.
