The Cotswold Listener is distributed in Cheltenham and the north Gloucestershire area, being one of six talking newspapers in the county.  Produced weekly throughout the year, each edition is comprised of a news section taken from the Gloucestershire Echo and the Cotswold Journal, a magazine section of general interest articles, a digest of forthcoming local events and information specific to the visually impaired.

Since its beginnings in 1978, The Cotswold Listener's purpose is to help the visually impaired stay in touch with what’s happening in their local community and stay aware of the issues that are of interest to them; enabling them to live their daily lives more independently, whilst providing entertainment and engagement.
